Sorta Suspected it All along

Seems like shits startin to fall into place.
It’s been 2 weeks of consistent dieting and
following the program
And so far… I’ve managed to drop 9lbs of body-fat,
without losing an ounce of strength.
If this doesn’t sound like a big deal to you
You’ve got to understand that every other time I’ve
tried to drop weight; my strength has plummeted
like a stone tied to a snitches foot.
Today was the first time I’ve actually hit a PR while dieting.
Your boy threw up a relatively easy set of 6 reps
with 315 on the bar.
Today’s performance confirms somethings I’ve been
suspecting for a few days.
For one… I think my nervous system is finally getting accustomed
to lifting while dieting.
It may sound crazy but I might actually be getting stronger
Secondly, it also confirms that though I’m losing fat I’m also
putting on a Lil bit of muscle.
I know, I know it’s not supposed to happen but how else can you
explain the PR during a caloric deficit – I highly doubt my nervous
system has become THAT efficient
Lastly this proves what I’ve been saying all along about alternating
between heavy days and fat loss days -
The higher rep work on the second day IS helping the body
recover faster – just like I thought.
Shit man, I’m so excited right now I could break into a run
(Yeah fuckin right)
